The last few days have been nonstop action. We started off on Friday smashing some big yellowfin. Capt Scott had 6 in the 80-110 lb range Capt Geoffrey had 6 from 80-150 and I had 7 with a 170/160/120/ and 3 80 lb yellowfin
On Saturday the bite did not happen until 2 pm but was wide open for 2 hrs straight. Scott ended the day with 7
Geoffrey fought a mean 150 lb tuna for 2 hrs
Capt Drew ran his first trip ending the day with 7 all 80-130 lbs
Sunday was about the same but the bite started first thing in the morning
Capt Drew had 9 yellows
Geoff had 7 yellows and a 330lb mako and a few jacks
Capt Rene started the day wahoo fishing with no luck and made it to the Lump for noon and caught 4 90-130 lbs yellows and went looking for wahoo again with no luck
Capt Scott had the same group for day 2 and went for wahoo all day ended up going 0-4 on wahoo
Scott fished on Monday and tore up the yellows again ending the day with 7
The total weight was 678 lbs of tuna in the stringer.
The fishing does not get any better then it is right now. It should stay like this until mid March
We still have weekends open. Saturday February 25 Rene and Geoffrey are open
